Our 2023 5-part virtual series examined how AI development is moving toward the creation of a separate species beyond human comprehension. Whether you are one of the ambivalent or one of concerned, this series will make you ponder everything from how you live, work & play all while discovering how AI is literally changing everything.
At the start of each episode, we travelled 100 years into the future to observe what happens when full on AI consciousness exists. We imagine how society has adapted to AI and how most surviving humans see AI as nothing special or new. Each topic will look at current AI developments including generative AI (e.g., ChatGPT) and general Artificial Intelligence. More importantly, episodes will address the importance of making necessary changes.
This is a 5-part virtual series hosted by Keith McDonald. Founder and Chief Curator of Toronto’s the “literacy AI project”. The series is intended for those who are curious about AI but have not had the time to investigate the nuances and developments that are taking place every day.
Viewer take-aways include discovering an increased awareness and understanding of how AI is developed.
Keith outlines who are the leaders in the AI space, their challenges and responsibilities within each episode theme and what our involvement should be as consumers of AI. Each program runs for 45-60 minutes with a special 15 minute Overtime session for Q & A with audience members and Keith.
